Extra Security Measures In Moscow

Additional measures of security, public order and preventing possible terrorist acts are to be taken in Moscow in connection with the US military operation in Afghanistan, the Moscow government told RIA Novosti. Tall buildings, objects of atomic power engineering, long-distance oil and gas pipelines, dams, reservoirs, transport, places of production and storage of weapons, ammunition, explosives and poison-gas, markets, trade centres, educational and pre-school institutions, hospitals, dwelling-houses, hotels and other potentially dangerous objects are to be taken under special control.
