Bad Weather Prevents Pace Delegation's Arrival In Ingushetia

Because of unfavourable weather conditions a delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, led by Lord Judd, has failed to arrive in Ingushetia (a North Caucasian neighbour of Chechnya). RIA Novosti was told at the press service of the Ingush government that the helicopter with the PACE delegation on board could not land in the airport of Ingushetia. Lord Judd has flown to the Village of Znamenskoe in Chechnya, said the press service. In Ingushetia representatives of the Council of Europe intended to meet with forced migrants from Chechnya and get a sidelight on their conditions of stay in the tent camps.
