Russian Business Elite Gathers in Davos

The annual meeting of the World Economic Forum will take place on January 23-28 in the Swiss ski-resort of Davos. As a Rosbalt correspondent was informed by the Russian government, global security, the struggle with terrorism, perspectives for world economic growth and current business problems will be the principal issued discussed.

More than 2000 guests are expected to attend the forum, including heads of state. According to provisional information, Russia will be represented by Minister of Finance and Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Kudrin, Presidential Economic Advisor Andrei Illarionov, Chairman of the International Committee of the Federation Council Mikhail Margelov, Chairman of Unified Energy Systems Anatoly Chubais, Yabloko Party Leader Grigory Yavlinsky, Director of Severstal-group holding Alexei Mordashov, President of YUKOS oil company Mikhail Hodorkovsky and Deputy Director of Russian Aluminium holding Alexander Livshits.
