Russian-Belarusian single currency to appear by 2005
A single currency of Russia and Belarus will appear not later than January 1, 2005, Presidents of the two nations Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko declared at a press conference in Minsk after today's session of the Russian-Belarusian Supreme Council. They stressed that the Russian ruble would be the single currency of the Union.
