Shareholders of RUSIA Petroleum have elected the Board of Directors at today's extraordinary meeting. Among new directors are Interros General Director Sergey Aleksashenko, TNK chief Viktor Vekselberg, Norilsk Nickel deputy head Grigory Potapov and some others.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors will be elected in the near future.
As a result, British Petroleum (a 32.95 percent stake in the company) has three seats in the Board of Directors, the Tyumen Oil Company (29.11 percent) has two representatives, Interros (25.71 percent) has two seats and the Irkutsk region's administration (11.66 percent) has three representatives.
According to RUSIA Petroleum General Director Valery Pak, the placement of the eighth issue of the company's shares has been practically finished.
