At dawn on Friday the search for the Ka-32 helicopter have been resumed. It disappeared on Thursday in the environs of Dagomys (near the resort town of Sochi, the Caucasian Black Sea shore, Krasnodar Territory, Russian Federation).
Four groups of rescuers are searching for the helicopter. They are inspecting the area from the Lunnaya Polyana (Lunar Glade) to the Krasnye Skaly (Red Cliffs). The fog and a strong wind make the searches difficult.
As RIA Novosti was told on Friday in the information department of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, sixty-five rescuers arrived yesterday to the supposed place of the helicopter's crash.
On Thursday, the helicopter flew from Dagomys to the area of the Fisht mountain at 11:20, Moscow time. There were nine people on board. At the appointed time of 11:30 the helicopter went out of radio contact.
