No signs of an explosion on the site of crash of the Russian helicopter crashed in Kamchatka on August 20 have been discovered, the RIA Novosti correspondent quotes the search operations headquarters as saying.
The debris of the Mi-8 helicopter, carrying an official of the administration of the Sakhalin region led by governor Igor Farkhutdinov, has been found today 150 kilometres away from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski. As for preliminary information, all the passengers and crew have died.
Medics, rescuers and officials of the prosecutor's office have arrived on the site. Metal-cutting equipment was also in case of need to cut the helicopter's debris.
