The UN calls to liberate the head of the mission of Doctors Without Borders organisation Arjan Erkel, kidnapped a year ago in Dagestan, the UN mission in Moscow says.
A year has come since Arjan Erkel has been kidnapped, and the UN calls to immediately liberate him without making any damage to him, the report says.
At the present time, a delegation consisting of UN and donor-countries' representatives is staying in the North Caucasus. During their meetings with the local bodies of authority the delegation's members will again raise the question of Arjan Erkel's fate.
The UN again declares its solidarity with hundreds of people kidnapped in the North Caucasus over the last several years and calls on those, who are responsible for this, liberate them without doing damage to them, the report of the UN mission in Moscow concludes.
