US-British Forces Take Offensive on Baghdad's Centre
The US-British forces have launched an offensive on Baghdad's centre. Skirmish and heavy explosions are heard closer to the centre of the Iraqi capital, a correspondent of the Al-Jazeera TV channel (Qatar) reported.
According to representatives of the US-British forces, the US 3rd infantry division launched the offensive on Baghdad's centre at about 7.00 a.m., Moscow time.
