Representatives of international peacekeeping forces in Kosovo (KFOR) handed over five Serbs, seized by Albanian militants from the so-called army of liberation of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, to head of the government committee on settling the crisis in the south of Serbia Nebojsa Covic. Three civilians were seized by Albanians on March 4 when they went to the monastery Prohor Pcinski. Two Serbian servicemen were seized by militants on March 21 when they entered in a car a security zone on the administrative border between Serbia and Kosovo controlled by Albanian militants. Albanians handed over the seized Serbs to KFOR representatives. After a medical examination on the US base Bondsteel they were handed over to the Serbian side on Tuesday.
