Iskander Missiles Hit Ukrainian Army Camp: 200 Casualties Reported

Russia Launches Devastating Strike on Ukrainian Training Base

The Russian Armed Forces have conducted a missile strike on a Ukrainian military training ground, according to official confirmations from both the Russian Ministry of Defense and the Ukrainian Ground Forces.

Russia's defense officials stated that a powerful strike was delivered using Iskander tactical missiles, equipped with both cluster and high-explosive warheads. The attack reportedly caused significant damage to the Ukrainian side.

"The missiles hit their intended targets and inflicted heavy losses on enemy personnel and equipment," — Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to the ministry’s estimate, the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) lost up to 200 soldiers either killed or wounded in the strike.

Target: 169th Training Center of the UAF Reserve

The attack, as reported by military channel Izanka, targeted a field training camp set up by a battalion tactical group of the 169th Training Center of the Ukrainian Ground Forces Strategic Reserve.

The Russian military launched two Iskander missiles immediately after identifying the precise coordinates of the camp. The moment of impact was captured on video and later released by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The footage reportedly shows one of the missiles carrying a cluster warhead, detonating on impact at the training location.

Significance of the Strike

This operation marks another example of Russia employing precision-guided munitions against key Ukrainian military infrastructure. The 169th Training Center is a major hub for preparing Ukraine's reserve forces, and its disruption may have broader implications for Ukrainian troop readiness in future operations.

The incident underscores the increasing intensity and reach of Russian strikes deep into Ukrainian-controlled areas amid the ongoing conflict.
