Azerbaijan-Armenia fighting intensifies

 

Fighting in the Armenian enclave of Nagorno-Karabakh in Azerbaijan has intensified between Armenia and Azerbaijan, causing 18 casualties, in the worst incident in the area for several years.

 

Azerbaijan claims that 13 of its troops were lost over the weekend while Nagorno-Karabakh states that it has lost five troops. The Presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia are to have meetings with Russia's President Putin shortly.
