A regional train collided with a truck in western France Monday, 40 people got minor injuries.
The truck and train collided at a crossing between Rennes and Saint-Malo, in the western Brittany region. Dominique Guerin, mayor of the village of Saint-Medard-sur-Ille where the crash occurred, told France's i-tele television that the traffic barriers at the crossing did not lower as usual when the train passed by.
French radio said 13 of those injured were treated at a hospital.
