A subsidiary of state-owned oil company JSC Rosneft won the bidding Thursday for several units of the bankrupt Yukos oil producer for 175.7 billion rubles (US$6.8 billion).
Neft-Aktiv submitted the winning bid for Tomskneft and other properties that once belonged to Yukos, the latest chapter in the liquidation of the former oil giant, which has helped make the Kremlin a major player in the global energy industry.
