Chinese engineers have introduced the Honghu T70, an advanced AI-driven autonomous tractor that operates without a cabin or driver. Designed for next-generation farming, the tractor can autonomously plow, plant, maintain, and harvest crops with remarkable precision.
The Honghu T70 is fully electric, powered by a lithium-ion battery and a permanent magnet synchronous motor. It features a dual-motor configuration—one motor propels the vehicle, while the other powers agricultural tools such as cultivators and mowers.
"The tractor is capable of executing a complete farming cycle, from plowing and sowing to crop care and harvesting, with a positioning accuracy of ±2.5 centimeters."
One of the key advantages of the Honghu T70 is its high level of autonomy. The tractor interprets tasks such as plow depth and terrain conditions entirely on its own, using advanced sensors and AI-based algorithms.
Efficiency and Sustainability Combined
The tractor can operate for up to six hours on a single charge. In just 2.5 hours of work, it can process approximately 2 hectares of land, making it a highly efficient solution for medium to large-scale farms.
By combining zero-emission electric power with intelligent automation, the Honghu T70 offers a compelling solution for farmers seeking to reduce labor costs and environmental impact while increasing productivity.
