Moscow airports to search people upon entering

Moscow airports will soon start searching everyone who enters the facility. This has been reported by the first vice minister of transportation and director of government’s air fleet Alexander Neradko.

“Passengers will be thoroughly searched with the help of metal detectors upon entering airports,” stated he. “We expect that the new measures will take place in Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo and Vnukovo airports simultaneously within the next few months.”

Director of the air fleet has expressed his hope that all passengers will treat the new measures with respect.” “The main reason for such actions is to ensure public safety. We hope that passengers will be able to adapt soon,” said Neradko.

He also remarked that Russian airports are already purchasing all the required equipment and plan to install them in the nearest future. Neradko also mentioned that Sheremetyevo airport will probably be the first one to have the equipment installed.
