New China-made ATM masters face recognition technology

A new Chinese-made ATM machine uses facial recognition and pin numbers. When in operation, the new machine is said to record serial numbers of each note to attribute them to a bank user.

The ATM was developed by Tzekwan Technology company from Hangzhou. The new machines will be used in banks and local police offices to prevent incidents of card theft. A perpetrator wishing to withdraw money from a stolen bank card will not be able to perform the operation, even if they obtained the password.
