Kline will play a Texan police officer, who finds out that his daughter was sold as a sex slave. In the course of the investigation the officer meets a young man from Mexico City (Cesar Ramos), whose 13-year-old sister also was kidnapped by slave-traders.

The two men continue looking for the girl, who meanwhile becomes friends with Milla Jovovich's character. The Hollywood star of the Ukrainian origin will play a young Russian woman, who came to the USA seeking the job of a babysitter as she was promised, but found herself in Mexico as a sex slave instead, the AP says.

The filming of the $12-million budget motion picture is set to start in Mexico at the end of November. The script for the new movie was written by Roland Emmerich ("The Day After Tomorrow"). “Welcome to America” will be directed by Marco Kreuzpaintner.

It is worthy of note that another Hollywood star, actress Angelina Jolie, will also appear as a Russian woman in her new movie. Unlike Jovovich, Jolie will play a Russian spy in the 21st sequel of the James Bond saga. The producers reportedly believe that the 30-year-old Hollywood beauty will perfectly fit the role of the Russian double agent.
