Gazprom and International Fuel and Power Association discuss gas sector development

The restructuring of the gas sector should be started from normalizing gas prices so that they could promote energy saving processes, competition within the fuel sector and an increase in the investment attractiveness of the gas sector, Grant Margulov, the President of the International Fuel and Power Association (IFPA), declared at his meeting with Gazprom Deputy CEO Alexander Ananenkov, the press service of Gazprom reported.

Moreover, state targeted programs should be the basis of the development of the gas market, Margulov said. The parties agreed to continue consultations and pointed out some directions of cooperation in the sphere of the elaboration on programs, analyses and the discussion of the most important issues of the energy sector.
