EU urges Iran to “give positive response” to incentives package early
Leaders did not specify a deadline for response to the six-nation offer, but they urged Iran to take the "positive path" being offered.
European Union foreign policy chief Javier Solana presented the deal to Tehran on June 6 and had said he expected an Iranian response this week. The six-nations agreed on the deal last month in Vienna, the AP reports.
