Bakoyannis is scheduled to attend a Turkish-Greek media conference on Saturday and meet with her Turkish counterpart Abdullah Gul.
The two ministers are expected to finalize an agreement to set up a hotline between the two countries' air commands. It follows a fatal collision last month between a Greek and a Turkish fighter jet shadowing each other over the Aegean Sea, which tested the two NATO allies' commitment to improve relations. The pilot of the Greek jet died while the Turkish pilot survived, the AP reports.
