The specific date of Prime Minister of the Palestinian National Authority Ahmed Kurei's possible visit to Moscow has not been considered yet, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Yuri Fedotov said in an interview with RIA Novosti on Thursday.
"The specific date is not at issue yet," he added. Earlier it was reported that Kurei might visit Moscow before the end of November.
"There are no specific plans so far, but maintenance of contacts with the PNA is a normal process and we are interested in it," the diplomat pointed out.
At present the Russian Foreign Minister's special envoy for the Middle East Alexander Kalugin is visiting the region, Fedotov said. "The adoption of the UN Security Council's new resolution that endorses the Road Map will be a great support for him to work with representatives of the parties within the quartet of mediators," the Deputy Foreign Minister believes.
