The Russian president is to decree soon on ways to execute the UN Security Council Resolution of September 28, 2001 on fight against terrorism. Russia's deputy prime minister and finance minister Alexei Kudrin told journalists about this in Washington on Friday. It is his conviction that the UN Security Council Resolution outlines rather clearly the anti-terrorism steps to be made at this stage, including freezing the accounts of organisations and individuals involved with financing the international terrorist network. As to the meeting of G-8 finance ministers and central bank heads, due in Washington on Saturday, Kudrin stressed that it would concentrate on the mechanisms of executing the resolution and on ways of international interaction in this area.
