More than ten Palestinians were wounded on Friday in a clash with Israeli troops, which occurred in eastern Gaza. One of the wounded is in a critical condition. The clashes took place in the vicinity of an Israeli military checkpoint of Al Mintar Karni, eastern Gaza. Eyewitnesses report that Israeli soldiers opened automatic fire at the column of protesters when Palestinian teenagers started throwing stones. Specialists of the Ash-Shifa hospital /Gaza/ reported that they had received ten wounded Palestinians on Friday. Apart from the aforementioned incidents, Israelis have wounded in the head a Palestinian child in the town of Khan Yunis. Israeli tanks also shelled Friday Palestinian checkpoints and residential areas in the town of Rafah, southern Gaza Strip. Several Palestinians were wounded as a result of the shelling. A spokesman for the Palestinian Security Service reported that two Israeli tanks had left the Israeli settlement of Morag near Rafah, intruded into the Palestinian territory to the distance of up to 700 m and shelled Palestinian positions and houses.
