Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced that Russia is attentively following events in Georgia. He held a Kremlin meeting on Thursday with representatives of foreign constitutional courts, including Chairman of the Georgian Constitutional Court, Dzhoni Khetsuriani. When speaking to the Georgian representative, Vladimir Putin said "we feel very concerned for you." Putin thanked Khetsuriani for participating in the meeting. In his turn, the latter expressed his gratitude to Vladimir Putin for his recent statement on Russo-Georgian relations. He said that this had been "an entirely constructive and objective assessment of the present state of these relations." According to him, the "absolute majority of the population of Georgia" shared this view.
