Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia had started a new stage in its humanitarian operation in Afghanistan. In the morning of November 26, twelve Russian military transport planes unloaded humanitarian aid in the airport of Kabul and safely returned home. As Vladimir Putin said, in the past few years Russian military transport aviation had not conducted such complex operations. According to the head of the state, the takeoff and landing were ensured jointly by Russian and American specialists. The action was conducted at the request and with the support of the Afghan government which ensured the safety of the Russians in the Afghan capital.
