Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko arrived on a two-day working visit to Moscow on Tuesday and was met at the airport by Pavel Borodin, the secretary of the Union of Russia and Belarus, and Vyacheslav Trubnikov, Russia's first Deputy Foreign Minister. According to Dmitry Zhuk of the Belarussian president's press service, Lukashenko will hold a meeting with Moscow Mayor Yury Luzhkov, who, in his turn, is expected to sign a number of agreements with governors of the Gomel and Grodno regions. On its part, the Information Department of the Standing Committee /the working body of the Council of Ministers of the Russia-Belarus Union/ reports that Lukashenko will also meet with leaders of companies Slavneft and Surgutneftegaz. On Wednesday, December 26th, the Belarussian president will chair a session of the Supreme State Council of the Union of Russia and Belarus.
