Over 4,500 km of the Russia-Kazakhstan state border line have been coordinated as of today, reports the Russian foreign ministry. The sides started talks on delimitation of the Russia-Kazakhstan border, whose length is 6,740 kilometers, more than two years ago. Kazakh president Nursultan Nazarabayev earlier reported that Russia and Kazakhstan intended to sign an agreement on state border delimitation in 2002.
