The Finance Ministers of the Group of Eight, of which France is the president, will meet in Paris on February 21st-22nd, said the press service of France's Ministry of Economy, Finances and Industry.
The Finance Ministers will be holding closed talks on the situation around Iraq.
The G-8 position in the light of its responsibility for the international economic situation following the settlement of the Iraq crisis will be worked out at the meeting, the French ministry's report reads.
Russia's representative, Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin, will take part in the talks on Russia's assistance to developing countries and financial issues of the fight against international terrorism.
