The head of the office of Volodymyr Zelensky, Andriy Yermak, said that Ukraine intends to turn the tide of the conflict before winter. Once again, he promised "many surprises" for Russia.
"It is important now to prevent the Russians from dragging us into a war into the winter... A lot depends on the training of our soldiers. We will turn the tide of this war. Soon there will be many surprises," Yermak wrote in his Telegram channel.
Kyiv has repeatedly announced some unpleasant surprises for the Russian Federation. In early June, after a telephone conversation with US presidential adviser Joe Biden about a new military aid package, Yermak spoke about them, and in early July, Zelensky, after a meeting with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, called aid from Amsterdam "an unpleasant surprise for the Russian Federation."
Earlier, Vadim Skibitsky, a spokesman for the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, said that Kyiv could use American missiles to strike at Crimea. In turn, the adviser to the head of Zelensky's office, Alexei Arestovich, said that Ukraine could attack the Crimean bridge "as soon as the first technical possibility appears."
