Ukrainian reservists surrendered near Severodonetsk without resistance

Nine Ukrainian reservists laid down their arms and surrendered without resistance near Sirotino in the suburbs of Severodonetsk, RIA Novosti correspondent reported.

According to the prisoners, they were mobilized in May to military unit No. 3035, which until 2014 was stationed in Luhansk, and then in Kharkov.

Among those who surrendered are three from Severodonetsk and Rubizhne, one contract soldier, as well as residents of Lviv, Ternopil, Vinnitsa and the Kharkov region.

In Severodonetsk, Ukrainian troops are suffering critical losses and retreating towards Lysichansk, and in Svyatogorsk, which is located to the west, the Ukrainian group has lost control of most of the city.
