Frank Hadden won't quit as Scotland's rugby union coach until at least November 2008.
Hadden, who guided Scotland to the World Cup quarterfinals, has signed a performance-related, rolling contract, which means either he or the Scottish Rugby Union can end it. His position will be reviewed at the end of next November.
Scotland lost to Argentina 19-13 at the World Cup, with the Pumas going on to take third place in the tournament. Hadden said Tuesday his team was frustrated that it didn't reach the semifinals.
"There was an incredibly disappointed and frustrated feeling of having missed an opportunity and, after the preparation that went into the whole thing, you take time to recover from that emotionally as much as anything else," Hadden said.
"But, by the time I came back, I was able to look at the World Cup campaign and say that we won four out of the seven games we played, including the two warm-up games. We played five games against teams which were higher than us in the world rankings."
