It seems that it's the time for celebrity births.
The latest star to have her baby is former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell. She gave birth to a baby girl on Sunday 14th May, by Caesarean section, a month sooner than expected. A source at London's Portland Hospital said: "The birth went well. Mother and daughter are doing fine."
No news yet on the tot's name...
But we do know she was delivered by the same obstetrician who brought Victoria and David Beckham's sons Brooklyn and Cruz into the world.
Geri has never officially said that Sacha is the father of her baby, but in a statement he has said: "I fully intend to give Geri and the baby all the love and support they need," informs Sky News.
The 33-year-old gave birth by Caesarean section last night in the private Portland Hospital in London, with her mother, Anna Maria, at her side, according to a report in The Sun newspaper.
The baby's father, Hollywood scriptwriter Sacha Gervasi, 40, was not present after being "frozen out", the newspaper said. Earlier this year, Geri, who considered adopting before becoming pregnant, revealed she wanted to call her baby Leonardo if it was a boy.
The former Ginger Spice told Hello! magazine she was set on being a disciplinarian mother and if she had a girl, she would like to name her Stella.
She told the magazine: "I'm just hoping this child is more angel than devil's child. To think that it might one day be going to the equivalent of the raves I went to, or driving away my car without permission the way I took my dad's, is horrifying."
A spokesman for the Portland Hospital today refused to confirm or deny whether Ms Haliwell was a patient there, reports This is London.
