Well-known Russian politician Vladimir Zhirinovsky was taking two boxes of vodka from New York to Boston. The vodka was a gift to the Russian diaspora - businessmen and administration of the city. When the plane landed in Boston, it turned out that “one of the boxes was suspiciously wet,” as Zhirinovsky said.
Delta Airlines attendants opened the box, and everybody saw that every bottle was broken. Zhirinovsky excluded a possibility that the box fell down on the ground: “Police do not doubt that the bottles were broken deliberately,” – claimed he. Zhirinovsky believes that the subversive activity with his vodka should be classified as the counteraction against the import of the Russian production in the USA. The leader of the Liberal and Democratic Party of Russia evaluated the damage in the sum of three thousand dollars.
