Air parade of ace-pilots held in Kubinka near Moscow

An air parade of ace pilots was held at the Kubinka air base near Moscow to mark the 60th anniversary of the 16th air army of the Russian Air Force.

Aerobatics skills were demonstrated by pilots on Su-27 and MIG-29 aircraft.

Of great interest is also the ground display at which specimen of modern aeronautical equipment are on display.

Paratroopers demonstrated their brick-breaking skills and hand-combat techniques.

The festival was attended by several thousand people, including the Air Force command, veterans of the 16th army and representatives of the authorities.
