On Saturday Krasnodar (an administrative centre in Russia's south, the Kuban region) will host the opening ceremony of the 2nd festival of children's art "Children of Different Nations".
The festival is held as part of the project "Many Nations in One Territory", the Krasnodar regional public organisation of graduates from Russian universities told RIA Novosti. An art exhibition "Children of Different Nations", the finals of the regional game "Many Nations in One Territory", a roundtable on the teachers' role in the prevention of ethnic discrimination, xenophobia and intolerance in the local community and performances by the best Kuban children's ensembles will take place as part of the festival.
The festival is organised by the Krasnodar regional public organisation of graduates from Russian universities, the Kuban Youth Centre, the Debut centre of the development of children's artistic activities and the Open Society Institute.
