Russian Security Council Secretary Vladimir Rushailo and head of the Israeli National Security Council Gior Eyland discussed key issues of Mideastern settlement in Moscow, the press service of the Russian Security Council said on Thursday.
"They focused on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, which, according to the Russian side, can be settled only by means of strict and unconditional fulfillment by the conflicting parties of the Road Map plan, which was approved by the UN Security Council," the press service reported.
In addition, Vladimir Rushailo and Gior Eyland discussed Russo-Israeli relations and pointed out their progressive development in all spheres of mutual interest.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Saltanov, Israeli ambassador to Russia Arkady Mil-Man and deputy director general of the Israeli Foreign Ministry Mark Sofer also took part in the meeting.
