The chairman of the international committee of the State Duma, Konstantin Kosachev believes that Russian specialists will return to Iraq in one-two months.
"We will return to Iraq fast and we are ready for cooperation," the lower house deputy told RIA Novosti.
In his opinion, "no one will bring any charges against Russian companies in connection with freezing of contracts, as their withdrawal from Iraq happened due to obvious reasons," Mr. Kosachev said.
In his opinion, the decision on Russian specialists' withdrawal from Iraq is a normal, right position.
Kosachev believes that this withdrawal's negative consequences will be insignificant.
He drew attention to the fact that Iraq perceives Russia as a state that did not support the anti-Iraqi coalition. Kosachev recalled that Moscow tried to protect sovereignty and return the developments into the channel of international law. "All these factors will work for the good of Russia," he stressed.
