Talks of Russia's president Vladimir Putin with Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee who arrived in Moscow on the day before on an official visit will be held in the Kremlin on Wednesday.
As RIA Novosti was told in the president' press service, the sides will discuss "a wide range of questions of bilateral relations and of the international agenda". Furthermore, a number of agreements on concrete fields of cooperation is to be signed.
For his part, a source in the presidential administration told RIA Novosti that "the sides have to continue working to implement the large-scale promising projects of Russian-Indian cooperation in the power industry, metallurgy and civil aviation".
Besides that, as he said, "the possibilities to broaden mutually advantageous cooperation in the new research-intensive and high-technology economic sectors, and to use India's "rupee" debt for investments in joint ventures" will be considered at the summit.
The Russian-Indian summit in Moscow will be the third bilateral meeting of Vladimir Putin and Atal Bihari Vajpayee in 2003.
