The weighted average euro exchange rate has amounted to 34.71 RUR/EUR at a special session today, which is RUR0.09 lower than the official euro rate set for November 3. The low on these deals was 34.65 RUR/EUR at the UTS. The ruble has strengthened against the euro for the fifth working day in a row. In the period from October 28 to 31 the euro lost RUR0.54 against the ruble. Commercial bank dealers attribute this tendency to the euro's retreat against US currency on international exchanges. The euro costs $1.157 to $1.158 currently, while on October 31, the previous working day, it was $1.162.
