Strategic partnership meets the national the interests of both Russia and Armenia, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Speaking at the constituent congress of the World Armenian Organisation, the Russian President pointed out "new serious changes in strategic partnership between the two countries which have been going on of late.
"Our partnership today meets the fundamental national interests of the two countries, it serves the strengthening of the security and the growth of their international authority, stability and economic progress in our countries," underscored Vladimir Putin.
"The benefit from the joint work for strengthening the CIS is becoming ever more obvious, and the mutually advantageous work on the co-ordinated participation in international and regional organisations, such as the Organisation of the Collective Security Treaty and EurAsEC, is becoming more appreciable," said Vladimir Putin.
"Jointly, we are efficiently fighting against new threats, strengthening interethnic peace and accord in our countries and co-operating in such strategically important region as the Caucasus," said the President.
