Sibneft to hold tender for feasibility study of gas-processing plant

This June, the Sibneft Oil Company will hold a tender among Western companies for developing a feasibility study for constructing its own gas-processing plant with the capacity of 2 billion cubic meters, the company reported to RBC. French Technip-Coflexip, the USA-based KBR and Foster Wheeler Corp., Japanese JGC Corporation, Mitsui & Co and Mitsubishi Corporation, and Petreco International LTD have already confirmed their participation in the tender.

The preliminary estimation of the construction amounts to $130m to $150m. It is planned to start the construction next year and to finish in 2005.
