Searches for Kenneth Gluck help to free a hostage

A hostage from Russia has been liberated during a police search for Kenneth Gluck, U.S. citizen kidnapped in Chechnya. Rafik Gafurov, resident of Ulyanovsk, was set free on Thursday during a police raid in Stariye Atagi, the press service of the United Military Group in Chechnya told RIA Novosti. Mr. Gafurov came over to Chechnya to visit his relatives there and was kidnapped by unidentified gunmen on November 15, 2000. The police have failed to track down the kidnappers of Kenneth Gluck, The bandits have not set forth conditions of his liberation so far. Law-enforcement agencies and Russian armed units have launched an all-out search for the U.S. citizen kidnapped on January 9, the press centre reports.
