Russia to pay $10m of its debt to Paris club tomorrow

Russia is planning to make on Wednesday its first in the current year instalment at the rate of $10m within the framework of servicing the debt of former Soviet Union to the Paris club of creditors, the press-service of Russia’s Financial Ministry says as reported by RIA Novosti. According to the source, the funds have already been reserved at Vneshekonombank. “Russia will not default on its debts,” a ministry spokesman has emphasized.
