HIGH ACTIVITY AT KOSOVO ELECTIONS DESPITE BOYCOTT

Kosovo elections are seeing high activity of the voters, ITAR-TASS reports. Long queues of 100-200 people have formed at some polling stations. Kosovo Albanians perceive the elections as a kind of vote for the territory’s independence. The voters’ security is provided by the UN police and kfor servicemen. As Pravda.Ru. has already reported, 100,000 ethnic Serbs and other non-Albanians living in Kosovo are boycotting the elections.
