Catastrophe on Moscow railway

An accident took place yesterday on Moscow railway. At 22.30, at a distance of 1 km from Yroslavsky Terminus, Moscow Khabarovsk passenger train collided with shunting electric locomotive. In the collision, the locomotive lost a wheel pair. As a result of the catastrophe, 17 to 40 people were injured, among them two children. According to the reports, a commission of Russian Communications Ministry has started its investigation of the collision’s reasons, headed by deputy minister Vadim Morozov and Moscow railway’s chief, Vladimir Starostenko.
