The West Siberian Integrated Iron-and-Steel Works in Novokuznetsk (the south of Siberia) has been awarded the International Prize of Europe for Quality. This year which marks the fifteenth anniversary of the prize, it was given the name of Gold Prize. The preparatory committee, on receiving the information from entrepreneurs, members of the Trade Leaders Club which unites 15,000 entrepreneurs from 112 countries, has named the West Siberian Integrated Iron-and-Steel Works among those which are worthy of the jubilee prize. It will be awarded to representatives of the Works at a special ceremony in Paris, reported on Thursday the press service of the administration of the Kemerovo Region. In the previous years the West Siberian Integrated Iron-and-Steel Works received this prestigious prize on many occasions. Taking this into consideration and on occasion of the anniversary of the prize, the Works' executive director Alexander Lavrik was presented with a memorable Gold Badge. The development of international contacts is the aim of business meetings in Paris at which representatives of the awarded companies and firms spoke about the activity of their enterprises.
