President Vladimir Putin has arrived in Novy Urengoi (western Siberia) on a working visit. Immediately after the arrival, he took a helicopter to fly to the Zapolyarnoye deposit. There, the president will visit the installation for the complex preparation of gas, examine the gas torch, the drying shop, regeneration shop and the centre for the installation's control. After this, Vladimir Putin will fly to the gas workers settlement which is under construction and will see the hostel building. Then, the president will return to Novy Urengoi where he will hold a conference on the problems of the gas industry development. On Monday, at a regular meeting in the Kremlin with members of government Vladimir Putin pointed out with satisfaction that the industrial development of Zapolyarnoye deposit, the biggest in Russia, began several days ago. According to the president, in 2005 it will go over to the maximum volume of output -- up to 100 billion cubic metres of gas.
