Ericsson Receives Major Order from Ukrainian Mobile Operator

Ericsson, the Swedish telecommunications concern, has won a major order from Ukrainian mobile operator Kyivstar. According to the Swedish company's press office, the order is for equipment to improve the GSM network in Ukraine. Kyivstar and Ericsson have also signed an agreement on technical and maintenance support for the equipment.

Kyivstar is one of Ukraine's leading mobile communications operators, with GSM networks in 260 towns. The company has agreements with 186 foreign mobile operators.
