Ford Raises Russian Prices by 3.5%

The Ford Motor Company has raised prices on its entire range of cars available in Russia by an average of 3.5%. According to the company's Russian headquarters, the rise in prices also affects cars produced at Ford's Vsevolozhsk plant in the Leningrad Region.

According to Ford's company rules, analyses of the market and price are carried out regularly. The new prices for the complete range of models were set in accordance with a number of factors affecting pricing policy (currency exchange rates, inflation, development of the market and economy). Ford has guaranteed to supply Focus models at their former price to all clients who placed orders at the Vsevolozhsk plant before February 5, regardless of when they are due to be delivered, the company's office stressed.

3,720 cars have been produced at the Vsevolozhsk plant since it was opened. To date Ford dealers have taken over 8 thousand orders for the Ford Focus, which is produced at the plant.
